CDRKING IS GETTING BETTER BUT SO MUCH COULD BE IMPROVED ON CUSTOMER CHECKOUT

CEBU WANTS ORDER NUMBER IN CEBU TO CALL AND PICKUP AT ANY CDRKING STORE JUST AS MANILA IS ADVERTISED TO HAVE PLEASE



It's been a while since I last updated this blog and CDRKING has greatly expanded it store locations since I started writing and buying at CDRKING and the lines are usually shorter now but some things still haven't changed and need to be improved.



Customer checkout is a time consuming affair and  cumbersome process still, strangely with the internet age and computer accounting and inventory where you can just run a scanner of the barcode and it is automatically registered with price and warranty and exhange period which most every business is now doing and yet they still close their stores for a day for inventory by hand written check lists and still write down sales receipts by hand with inventory on a separate log and then the cashier finishes the process.
 
 Inventory in the States is done by a hand bar code reader and would allow inventory to be made in a short time with one employee and there is no reason the inventory can't be done after the store closes rather than closing the store during business hours and losing sales.




If CDRKING could use their barcodes which are on all their packages already and they already have a operating computer in their store with internet, sales could be immediately transmitted to their headquarters and they could order new inventory on what each store sells.


Much inventory is never in stock even if they have an excellent website and you have to go to each store and wait in line or call each store to see if they have the item thats in their online catalog.

 In Manila at least they have one store for pickup which is convenient but metro Manila is very big and traffic is terrible so it still amazes me that you can not order on line and have it shipped to you by LBC at a low rate nationwide.


It would save them cost too by having inventory online accessible to all customers and employees and management immediately which would reflect as sales are made. That way customers would know which store to go to with stock.



And allowing online order in todays internet age would benefit all! Lets modernize CDRKING and all would benefit.  Thats why online sales are booming!  And less stores with staff would save costs for the owners too.
